Ark Energy seeks a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will support our community engagement initiatives, helping to build and maintain relationships with our client communities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and community management within a fast-paced consulting environment.
 

Core Responsibilities
 

• Develop and design visually appealing and on-brand content for Instagram, including posts, stories, reels, and IGTV

• Assist in creating and editing short-form video content that resonates with our target audience

• Collaborate with designers to produce engaging graphics and visuals that highlight our services, products, and company culture

• Regularly update and maintain website content, including news, blogs, and insights. Ensure that all information is current, accurate, and aligned with our brand messaging

• Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor and participate in relevant conversations to foster a sense of community and brand loyalty

• Assist in organizing and promoting Instagram Live sessions, Q&A's, and other interactive content to connect with our audience

• Assist in the planning and execution of Instagram campaigns that align with our broader marketing goals

• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and emerging social media tactics to inform and improve our strategies

• Analyze the performance of Instagram content and campaigns using analytics tools, and provide recommendations for improvement

• Identify and reach out to potential influencers, brand ambassadors, and partners to collaborate on campaigns

• Ensure that all content is consistent with the brand’s voice, style, and messaging

• Maintain and update our Instagram content calendar to ensure a steady stream of engaging posts

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on Instagram and website performance, including engagement rates, follower growth, and key insights

• Present findings to the marketing team and suggest actionable strategies based on data analysis

Qualifications and Requirements
 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for social media, digital marketing, and community building

Interns shall report directly to assigned consultants/manager daily, and work closely with key team members
